C. Ramakrishna - IRTS

Vice Chairman

Mr. C. Ramakrishna is the Vice Chairman of the Company overseeing the overall operations of the Company. He is from the Indian Railway Traffic Services cadre.

Mr. C. Ramakrishna joined Indian Railways in the year 1966 and contributed in various capacities in the Operating Department in Southern Railway and South Central Railway.

The Positions he held are:

  • Chief of Marketing & Movement Officer and Chief Public Relations Officer in Singareni Collieries Co. Ltd.
  • Chief Freight Traffic Manager of South Central Railway
  • Divisional Railway Manager of Hyderabad  Division of South Central Railway for more than two years
  • Chief Operations Manager of South Central Railway for three years
  • Addl. General Manager of South Central Railway for 3years
  • General Manager of South Central Railway during the year 2002, prior to his retirement.
SK-Sharma

S. K. Sharma - IRSE

Director – Engineering

Mr. S.K. Sharma is the Director – Engineering of the Company looking after all the Engineering aspects and execution of the Projects. He is a B.Tech Graduate from IIT Roorkee in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee.

He has four decades of rich experience in execution of large span Bridges, Project Construction, Project Management and General Management.

He has served in the Indian Railways in various capacities such as Chief Engineer (Construction), Chief Track Engineer, Divisional Railway Manager, Principal Chief Engineer, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) and Retired as Additional General Manager of Southern Railway.

He has received a 3-Star Award by the President of India for Construction of the First Green Building on the Indian Railways.

He was conferred as Outstanding Engineer Award by the Indian Building Congress in 2014 and has worked with M/s ALSTOM as a Safety Assessor and with AECOM – Feedback Infra, Hyderabad Metro Rail as Chief Resident Engineer – Coordination.

SA-Qureshi

S. A. Qureshi

Director – Projects

Mr. Shameem Qureshi is a Professional in Civil Engineering and has worked in the Indian Railways for four decades in various capacities and was In-charge of Gauge Conversion Projects and Construction Projects which involves Doubling and Maintenance works in the Indian Railways.

He had worked in IRCON and was In-charge of construction of new Railway line in Iraq for about 95 kms.

He has been with K&R Rail Engineering Limited for the past one decade and is instrumental in executing the Projects on the ground leading to accolades from various clients.

Amit Bansal

Jt. M.D & CEO

Mr. Amit Bansal is a Technocrat and Driving force behind K&R Rail Engineering Limited. He holds a AMIE, Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Rail Engineering from the Institution of Permanent way Engineers India. 

He has completed a Special Courses in Points and Crossings and has obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Indian School of Business Management and Administration, Mumbai. 

He has also done an advance Management Course in Infrastructure from the prestigious Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

He has been associated with K&R Rail Engineering Limited for the past 14 years. Prior to which, he has worked as a Vice President – Operations in Rahee Track Technologies Pvt. Ltd and as General Manager in J.Sons Engg. Corporation Ltd, Meerut.

Shoeb Khan

Vice President (Commercial & Projects)

Mr.Shoeb Khan, is a Business Leader who is having a Decade plus experience in Logistics Management, Operations & Management, Construction, Continuous process improvement for Corporate and Investment Finance, Project Management, Business Development, HR Management and Industrial Relations.

He has done his BBA (Honours) from the Trent University – Canada, MS in Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh Business School – UK, MBA (PGP) from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

He has executed large scale Maintenance contracts for Steel, Power, Ports, Mining, Cement, Aluminium Industries as well as for Metro Railways. 

He has defined and implemented SOP’s for Locomotive Maintenance, Railway Operations, Track Maintenance and Signalling Operations and Maintenance activities.

Albert Fernandes – IRTS

Vice President (Operations)

Sri A.Fernandes, Ex. Indian Railway Traffic Services Officer of Indian Railways, was one of the outstanding operational Managers in the Railways and has served in various capacities. 

He has held posts on deputation in the Ministry Railways, Railway Board and on deputation to Indian Oil Corporation in the Refineries and Marketing Departments.

Holding Post Graduate Diploma in Railway Engineering and a double Masters Degree in Law, he has expertise in the Railways Traffic Planning and Operations.

Apart from Traffic Operations, he specialised in Freight Marketing Policies and was the proponent for supporting the development of many new lines, siding projects and ports during his stint in the Traffic Planning Department of South Central Railway.

His expertise and knowledge of policy was used to provide Cement sidings for Indian Cements, Penna Cements from the common lead line of Cement Corporation of India by invoking the provisions of the policy but for which the new sidings would not be commissioned for want of land acquisition and unviable costs.

Kamlesh Gupta - IRTS

Advisor (Transportation & Planning)

Mr. Kamlesh Gupta who is from the Indian Railway Traffic Services cadre has almost Three decades of experience in the Indian Railways. He has worked in the key positions in Indian Railways such as Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Chief Operations Manager, Retired from the Indian Railways as Addl. Member (Traffic & Commercial), Railway Board.

He has worked as a Group General Manager in Container Corporation of India Limited for two years.

He has also worked as Divisional Railway Manager of Lucknow and headed a Staff strength of almost 25000.

He was appointed as a Consultant to United Nations for a Study on development of Tran-Asian Railway (Southern corridor of Asia-Europe Link route).

He was also appointed as United Nations Consultant for a Study on Rail Road Grade Separators of 7 Asian countries.

He is on the Visiting Faculty on the Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management and has conducted Seminars and given Presentations on various Study tours and companies.

He was also associated as a Consultant for CTRAM Dedicated Freight Corridor Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Price Water House Cooper, Ernst & Young, Association of Container Train Operators etc.
